Hi, I’m Jennifer Mohamed.
With over 25 years as a lawyer and 14 years as a yoga teacher, I bring a unique blend of legal knowledge and mindful perspective to the yoga business community.
My journey has taken me from government and Big Law to in-house counsel and boutique practice, culminating in the launch of my own firm in 2025. Along the way, I’ve helped small and mid-cap companies navigate their legal needs, and I’m passionate about making legal support accessible and affordable for the yoga community.
As Past President and current Trustee of the Princeton Bar Association, Pro Bono Counsel to the Hunterdon Land Trust, and Member-Benefit Attorney to the American Yoga Council, I’m deeply committed to both the legal and wellness worlds.
Whether I’m leading a yoga class or guiding clients through legal challenges, my goal is to help you find clarity, confidence, and peace of mind that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

A little more about me….
How I Became Jen the Yoga Lawyer
Several years ago, a newspaper in Princeton, New Jersey wrote an article about the SEVA challenge I did with Off the Mat into the World and the humanitarian trips I took to India and Kenya with The Village Experience. The impetus for the article was a talk I was giving as President of the Princeton Bar Association about how to build prosperity for yourself and your law practice by giving back. A colleague, concerned about my professional reputation, asked me if I minded being referred to as a yoga lawyer. I laughed, and as you can see, I actually loved it.
About fifteen years ago when I was in the midst of my yoga teacher training, ironically, I often found it hard to be authentic. When I was with my yoga friends, I reluctantly admitted that I was an attorney, and when I was with my lawyer colleagues, I hid how dedicated I was to yoga, often brushing it off as just exercise.
Then, as I was going through a major life change I found that once I stopped hiding who I really am I became more empowered and engaged, a better mom, friend, partner, and ultimately, more joyful and successful.
Since then, I’ve been practicing law and yoga, and integrating the two to become a better lawyer and teacher, and to re-define the lawyer stereotype as Jen the Yoga Lawyer. Fast forward to the present, and I’ve become empowered to lead attorneys in well-being, am often asked to speak at national and international conferences, and enjoy empowering my fellow yogis to break through their own barriers to succeed in business, so we can change the world. Yes, change the world!
