I have designed the Optimal Wellness for Lawyers (OWL) program to be consistent with ABA guidelines on attorney wellness and to specifically meet the needs of busy lawyers towards obtaining greater wellness across all dimensions of life: occupational, intellectual, spiritual, physical, social, and emotional.

Taking breaks during the workday with yoga has proven to be a very effective way in helping employees relieve stress and feel refreshed & energized. As a result, employees are then able to make better decisions, be more productive & focused, and have a more positive attitude toward co-workers and tasks. Studies also show that yoga can help boost immunity.

9:00am-9:30am: All Levels “Feel Good” Yoga Class

9:30am-9:40: Meditation Techniques & Tips

9:40am-9:55am: Guided Meditation

9:55am-10:00am: Q&A and Closing Remarks

1-hour OWL Mindfulness Workshop (online)

Introduction to mindfulness meditation, breathing techniques, philosophy, and mudras (symbolic hand gestures) to help release stress, encourage feelings of peace and calm and acceptance, and increase joy and concentration. Typically includes light movement, 2-3 guided meditations, and journaling.

Lunchtime Yoga Series (online)

Four 30 minute lunch-time yoga & meditation classes designed to comfortably do at a desk.

Mini Attorney Wellness Retreat: 2-3 hours

For your firm or office, an introduction to yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to help lawyers de-stress, regenerate, and find greater purpose and meaning personally and professionally. The program will include an informative talk about how mindfulness and exercise can help you be a better lawyer. I will review the fundamentals of several basic yoga poses and meditation techniques, and then will guide the group through an all-levels yoga class ending with relaxation and a guided meditation. The class will include plenty of instruction for beginners, as well as the experienced practitioner. Up to 25 people in person.  CLE add-on available.
